Christopher Devlin Brown has been a visual artist for over twenty years. He began his career working in the film industry in Hollywood and New York, as an actor and assistant director on music videos for Keith Richards, Peter Townsend and Paul Simon, before finding his way behind the camera as a videographer and still photographer on movie sets.
Since returning home to Connecticut in 1995, Chris expanded his visual repertoire and began photographing weddings. Incorporating what he learned from his days photographing on movie sets, how to move quietly and unobtrusively through a crowd, Chris is able to easily capture the intimate moments of your wedding day without interrupting the natural flow of events. His photojournalist style, combined with his art for storytelling, result in captivating, truthful images that translate into a photographic collage of lifelong memories.
In addition to his wedding photography business, Chris is also the founder and owner of Photografix, a full service digital imaging bureau and custom color lab with a storefront located at 344 East Main Street in Clinton, Connecticut. With access to his own mini lab, Chris is able to keep his processing and printing costs down without sacrificing quality; a savings he passes on to all his wedding clients.
